5TH AVE ALLIANCE EXCITED TO HAVE CELEBRATE PRIDE 2022

For our organization, community PRIDE is important and must be celebrated.

Each year during the month of June there is a celebration that has honored those that have and still take part in the long journey of efforts toward having sexual/ gender freedom without being ostracized because of discriminations and hate.

Many LGBQ -Transgender community members celebrate their lives with the right to love and live freely as their authentic selves, a time for celebration the many lives lost to suicide , murder and HIV /AIDS.

After a long wait of 2 years due to the Covid pandemic, this year our organization took part in the Winston Salem NC Pride festivities Saturday June 18.

5th Ave Alliance was also excited and honored to be chosen as the recipient of the Drag show event that was held at Monstercade on the eve of June 17th

Our Float was present in the Winston Salem Pride parade with a Unicorn theme, as we took part as a vendor Trade street we were able to interact with the estimated 10,000 expected to attendees as well.

Our very own organization's founder himself Flex Jonez himself will be performed on the community stage with the help of several of our 5th Ave Alliance clients and board members and youth also known as the Unicorn Squad .
